Greetings, Weary Traveler…

My name is Maranda Wilbanks; mother of a very grumpy cat, and an illustrator and graphic designer based in the United States. I graduated from Southern Adventist University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, and a minor in Illustration. Because of my design focused background, I use all of the creative design process, problem solving, and implication that I’ve learned in the illustrations I make.

I draw much of my personal work inspiration from video games, music, emotion, and fantasy—- as well as character based stories and scenarios that I’ve written in my own time. I work digitally in Photoshop and Illustrator, but enjoy experimenting with more traditional medias from time to time. Overall, my work is best suited for children’s illustration, concept art, and other stylized 2D projects.
